Who Won Love Island 2025?

Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman celebrate being crowned the Love Island 2025 winners in a thrilling finale.

Love Island UK 2025 delivered one of its most dramatic seasons yet – and the grand finale did not disappoint. After weeks of romance, recouplings and explosive bust-ups in the villa, an underdog couple emerged to take the crown. In a live final full of shock twists, host Maya Jama announced that Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman were the winners of Love Island 2025, as voted by the public. The pair looked completely stunned when their names were read out, having beaten the bookies’ favourites Grace Jackson and Luca Bish to the £50,000 prize. It was a result that left some viewers in disbelief – but also cheering for this feel-good couple who proved genuine connection can triumph over drama.

The Dramatic Finale: Five Couples, One Winner

The Love Island 2025 finale (airing 17 February 2025) saw five couples vying for the top spot. In true twist fashion, a shock dumping went down just before the final: former Islanders were flown in to vote off one duo, which sent Harriet Blackmore and Ronnie Vint packing on the eve of the finale. That left Elma Pazar & Sammy Root, Catherine Agbaje & Omar Nyame, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu & Curtis Pritchard, Grace Jackson & Luca Bish, and Gabby Allen & Casey O’Gorman as the final five couples competing for the win. During the live show, tension built as Maya Jama revealed the rankings one by one. Elma and Sammy were announced in fifth place, with Catherine and Omar taking fourth. Ekin-Su and Curtis secured a respectable third-place finish after a rollercoaster journey. That left a head-to-head showdown between fan-favorites Grace and Luca and the dark horse duo Gabby and Casey. Finally, Maya Jama delivered the life-changing news: Gabby and Casey are the winners of Love Island 2025! Confetti rained down as the ecstatic couple embraced, visibly in shock and joy at their victory.

Meet the 2025 Love Island Winners: Gabby Allen & Casey O’Gorman

Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman each entered the villa as familiar faces – and ended up making Love Island history together. Gabby originally appeared on Love Island back in 2017 (Season 3), where she was known for her romance with Marcel Somerville. In the All Stars 2025 series, Gabby actually came face-to-face with her ex Marcel once again, and it was a rocky start at first. (The two had an awkward reunion given their past cheating fallout, but they eventually cleared the air and became friends in the villa.) Gabby then recoupled with Casey, and from that point on, their connection only grew stronger by the day. Casey, for his part, had first been on Love Island in 2023 (Season 9) and even took part in the first All Stars series in 2024 – making 2025 his third shot at finding love on the show. Known for his cheeky humor and a bit of a playboy reputation (he found himself in a love triangle during his original season), Casey entered the All Stars villa as a bombshell and quickly set his sights on Gabby. From their very first conversation, Casey was smitten – he later gushed that once he chatted with Gabby, “it was game over for me”.

Once Gabby and Casey coupled up, they became one of the steadiest couples of the season. Unlike many of their rivals, these two managed to steer clear of most of the villa drama and focus on building a genuine bond. Their relationship was refreshingly drama-free in a season packed with arguments and conflicts. Instead of feuding, Gabby and Casey were often seen laughing together, offering each other support, and enjoying the Love Island experience to the fullest. This low-key approach earned them a reputation as the villa’s wholesome, “no drama” couple, which many fans found endearing. Of course, they weren’t entirely invisible – the pair had their sweet moments, from goofy poolside chats to stolen kisses during the villa parties. By the final week, Gabby and Casey had solidified their status as boyfriend and girlfriend in all but name, with Casey declaring his adoration for Gabby to anyone who would listen. Their ability to stay loyal and authentic amid the chaos is likely what won over viewers’ hearts in the end.

When the big moment came, even Gabby and Casey themselves could barely believe it. “Winning was so unexpected – I was in complete disbelief. I was gobsmacked,” Gabby admitted, describing how she felt when their names were called. Casey was equally stunned, but the victory clearly meant the world to him – especially since he said he already felt like a winner just having Gabby by his side. After the cameras stopped rolling, the newly crowned champs revealed some wholesome plans for their £50,000 prize. They intend to treat each other and their families with the money – including taking a romantic trip to Europe (and maybe even the Maldives) once they’re back in the real world. “We’re really grateful,” Gabby noted, emphasizing that the experience meant more than the cash reward. Now, this lovable duo joins the storied list of Love Island winners. (They even follow in the footsteps of last year’s All Stars winners, Molly Smith and Tom Clare, who are still together one year on.) Fans everywhere will be rooting for Gabby and Casey to go the distance and make their love last outside the villa.

Finalists and Fan Favorites: How the Others Fared

While Gabby and Casey stole the show in 2025, they weren’t the only memorable couple in that finale. Four other couples made it all the way to finale night, each with their own journey and fan following:

  • Runners-Up – Grace Jackson & Luca Bish: Grace and Luca were widely seen as the frontrunners heading into the final. This pair had reconnected after Luca’s brief fling with newcomer Samie Elishi mid-season – Luca strayed for a moment, but ultimately realized “it’s always been Grace,” quickly returning to his original partner. They weathered some controversy in the villa, especially when former Islander Olivia Hawkins accused Grace of faking it and having a pre-show “game plan” for fame. Despite those bumps, Grace and Luca stayed strong and loyal to each other. They received some of the loudest cheers in the live studio audience, and many expected them to clinch the win, but they ultimately had to settle for second place behind Gabby and Casey.

  • Third Place – Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu & Curtis Pritchard: This fiery duo had perhaps the rockiest road of all the finalists. Just a couple weeks before the finale, Ekin-Su actually threw her drink on Curtis during a blow-up argument – a furious reaction after Curtis recoupled with another girl (Danielle) in Casa Amor. However, true to Love Island’s unpredictable nature, Ekin-Su and Curtis reconciled and found their way back to each other by the end. In fact, they finished the show as an official couple: Curtis proudly said he was “leaving with a girlfriend” and Ekin-Su poured out her feelings in return, calling Curtis her “best friend… lover… boyfriend” during the final day declarations. Their passionate, tumultuous journey made them one of the most talked-about couples of the series, and they were rewarded with a respectable third-place finish.

  • Fourth Place – Catherine Agbaje & Omar Nyame: In contrast to some of the chaos around them, Catherine and Omar enjoyed a drama-free romance for most of the season. They coupled up early on and stuck by each other through thick and thin. This duo wasn’t generating huge headlines or fights – instead, they were often shown having cozy chats and cheering on their friends. By finale time, Catherine and Omar were still going strong and even told Maya Jama they couldn’t wait to make it work on the outside together. Their steady, low-key approach carried them into the final four. And while they didn’t take the top prize, finishing fourth is nothing to scoff at for a couple that largely stayed out of the drama and out of trouble.

  • Fifth Place – Elma Pazar & Sammy Root: Elma and Sammy became one of the villa’s cutest new pairings – a true love-at-first-sight connection. When Sammy (a former 2023 winner) walked into the All Stars villa, Elma was instantly drawn to him, and the feeling was mutual. The two soon became exclusive, with Elma gushing to Sammy in one romantic moment, “You walked in and then it was only you. It was like it was meant to be.” From that point on, they only had eyes for each other. Unfortunately, a late clash with another couple (an explosive feud with Ekin-Su and Curtis during the final week) may have hurt Elma and Sammy’s momentum. Once considered strong contenders, they ultimately fell to fifth place on finale night. Still, this sweet couple provided plenty of heartwarming moments and left the villa hand-in-hand, ready to continue their relationship beyond.

Love Island 2025 (the special All Stars winter edition) will be remembered for its chaos and confrontations, but also for its fairytale finish. In the end, Gabby and Casey’s love story won the hearts of the public, capping off a season that kept fans on the edge of their seats. From shocking twists to tear-jerking declarations, this year’s Love Island had it all – and we couldn’t have asked for a more deserving winning couple to close out the drama. As we say goodbye to the villa for now, one thing is certain: Love Island will be back with more romance and surprises, but 2025’s champions have set a high bar for the seasons to come!
